YUKI’s Blog 981
Hello, good morn-even-noon, it’s YUKI(*^^*)
Yup! First off, I have an announcement…
I have been featured in a special edition of the magazine “BOYS FILE MONOTONE CLASSY”! ︎︎☺︎
It will be on sale on March 1st!
Since it’s a special edition, “monotone” and “sexy” is the theme but…please just have a look at it 😂✨
By the way, there will be a photo gallery of this from February 23rd~March 8th at Shibuya Loft on the first floor, so please do check that out as well☺️
The details are here↓
MONOTONE CLASSY BOYS | IDOL MARKET
And last week, right around this time, I dyed my hair, lol
↓

What do you think? Lol
To be honest, pink looked good on me, but I wanted to go for a change, lol
One day, I want to try to go jet black, lol←I’m going to turn into a potato right away, so I probably won’t do it
Last week, we went to Hokkaido do our release event on Saturday!
We didn’t go outside, but it’s been in a while since I’ve seen snow piled up, and it was fun just walking around the airport︎︎︎☺︎
The caramel milk? From this place was really good…
I don’t really like to eat chocolate a lot, but just for the heck of it📸Lol
And we had a full schedule this week as well, but it was very fulfilling!
I did a lot of research about sleep when we had that schedule, but sleep deprivation is scary…lol
At first, I wanted to write some lyrics that said something like “Let’s destroy the sleep or even our haters!!” And it came up in the related search…lol
It applies to me quite a bit…you guys should be careful too, lol
Changing subjects again, but today, I was able to go home early for once, and Music Station was on…and I watched the performance of Keyakizaka46’s “Kuroi Hitsuji”!
The lyrics are composed by Akimoto Yasushi of course, and I was just blankly watching it but…the lyrics really echoed within me
It seems that there are certain things that are specific to Keyakizaka46’s lyrics, and when I looked it up
It seems that their target audience are those who are young, especially in their teens
When they use first person, instead of using the word “watashi”, they use the word “boku” 2 and they also incorporate images of how teenagers spend their days.
It seems like if they write it that way, it will make you think that it is about you
Thinking about it, even though I don’t really know about it, it’s a word that I have heard
“I don’t like it”
That choice of words is just perfect
If it were me, I would probably translate those same words into English for my lyrics, lol
Lyrics: Keyakizaka46-Kuroi Hitsuji3
These are the lyrics, so if you’re interested, please take a look!
I’m sure different people will interpret it in different ways, but it’s been a while since a song has made me feel like I have become able to figure out something that I couldn’t find an answer to, so I’ll leave it up here☺︎
We will also do our best to make lyrics that will remain in your hearts even just a little bit!
And we would love for you to hear all of that live at our tour!!
Balloting through your CD purchases ends on the 27th, so please do hurry!

A few notes...
- Original post here
- there are different words to use to refer to yourself in first person in the Japanese language. Both “watashi” and “boku” are usable for both female and males. Although “watashi” is more commonly used by women, it can also be used by men in formal settings. The word “boku” is used more for young boys, but it is also used by men in formal settings as well. It is also used in song lyrics as a common first person noun for all genders
- I put in a different link with English translations to the lyrics
