Hello, fellow AXCELS! It’s been a long, long time since Karu-chan translated MADKID’s LINE blog. As you can see, we all fell behind because of real life, such as work, and we were also preparing for MADKID’s debut in performing in the U.S. for the 2019 Crunchyroll Expo. It was a very eventful time for us very few overseas Axcels and I can never be more proud of being able to see the boys in the flesh. Since then, we were in our own personal blisses, to the point that when MADKID also faded from the limelight after their performance, so did we as active Axcels.
I’m writing this entry right now to let you know what’s been going on, not just with Karu and myself, but also with MADKID and the blog translations. If you’ve been following us and been enjoying the blog translations to get to know the members more, you already noticed that their LINE Blog stopped at the last weekday of December 2019. There were so many changes within their FC 1 site as well that they made their huge transition to a more artist-specific FC site hosting and join their other fellow J-Pop artists in establishing their own mobile-only FC site there.
When we opened Letters, we made this blog into a general translation site from their blogs (now FC-only) to song lyrics to even some news articles floating around here and there. But because there are two of us and we’re both everyday busy adults, we can’t always devote our time working on them when we also have our own personal priorities. I also placed AXCEL STYLE on hiatus as well, as I also have to devote my time to more important matters at home. To make up for this, I’ve been making my now J-Pop general Twitter account more active and bring the latest updates about MADKID.
So, just to finish this post, we would like to let you know that eventually, we’ll get this site active again. Just don’t expect any translated blog entries like before. We’ll take some time when we can to translate any news articles, as well as song lyrics to their current and past songs. When time also permits, we’ll also take the time to translate the rest of their 2019 blog entries until December 2019, then we’ll try to figure out where to go from there.
So, that’s it. Will keep in touch again. Thank you for following us till this day!
